Gamingbits reveals the planned Wii shooter – a mould that incorporates the Wiimote and Nunchuk into a module resembling a firearm. This is again a wonderful demonstration of forward-thinking compatibility and adaptability for the Nintendo Wii. And it will no doubt be incredibly useful in furthering successful FPS games for the Wii.

Looks like the Wii is expanding the 3rd party developer base and there’ll be some innovative new titles coming to the platform. Some could be viewed as Wii-ified ports of existing games/concepts, but they all look like building on the “fun” element of the console.

Here’re some new screenshots from Brunswick Bowling for the Wii. Looks like the popularity of Wii Sports Bowling has led to the development of a more commercial release that will undoubtedly include more advanced graphics, features and gameplay than the bundled version.
